400 AMP UL1640 PORTABLE WELDING STATION-480V: SCOPE OF DEGINE: All Bossltg Welding Temp Power systems are assembled per UL1640 Standards. This 400a PANEL ( MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER OPTIONAL ) is installed in a Nema 4 enclosure. Green ON/OFF indicator light to alert operators of power. Cam-loc line connectors, 3p/4w 480v, 3ph. 8 X 60a, 480v PIN/SLEEVE WELDING receptacles wired into sides of enclosure. Includes a 25kva, encapsulated transformer, 480v-1ph to 120/240v, 1ph to supply 7 x 20a, 120v GFCI duplex receptacles, circuit breaker protected. This package is mounted within a metal cage frame with bottom basket to store cables. Dual lifting eyes and forklift pockets. Total system is UL performance tested, electrical, static load and environmental weather test simulated. This Bossltg product will carry a NEMA 3R Environmental Rating. After testing, system is UL Labelled, palletized, metal strapped, then plastic wrapped for shipments.

NOTE: Boss can special assembler I-LINE welding panels to clients request and UL1640 Certify, UL Serialize for OSHA regulator monitoring. UL1640 Safety acceptable in USA and in Canada.
30amp, 60amp, 100amp and 200amp PIN & SLEEVE receptacles are available in all welding operating voltages.
TYPE: 2″ Metal square tubing designed cage with wire bottom basket to store welding cables. Designed with forklift pockets and lifting eyes with 4/0 grounding lug.
480V PIN/SLEEVE RECEPTACLES: Killark, Appleton, Hubbell or Crouse Brand, 60a, 3p/4w, 480 volt
PANEL BOARD: 400a, MLO, 480V, 3ph, 3p/4w. 10 Circuits with 8 – 60a, 3p branch 480V breakers and a single 45amp, 2p, transformer breaker mounted within a Nema 4 Enclosure.
WIRING: All wire will be sized to 115% of amp load rating. THHN 90* wire type within system.
UL CERTIFICATION: Boss will assemble and test this product to UL1640 Portable Job-site Electrical Distribution Standards.
UL LISTED MARK: The UL Mark will be labelled to the 400 AMP UL1640 PORTABLE WELDING STATION-480V. This mark will have a serialized number so that OHSA can track this product through the UL Certification system.
FALSE UL REPRESENTATION: Just because an electrical assembler uses all UL Certified Electrical Components does not represent a product to be UL Listed. The company that is assembling the product has to be UL Qualified by Underwriter’s Lab and confirmed with a UL File Listing. A UL Listed Printed Decal distributed by UL’s Authorized Printer that will show a recorded individual serialized tracking number with UL Assemblers Company name. This UL Label must be installed in open view of operator on product..
